WHAT IS MICRONEEDLE?

Innovative and transformational, microneedle rejuvenates your skin from the dermis-up. Like worn-out springs in a mattress, the collagen in our deeper layers of skin break-down as a result of UV and pollution. Over time, lines and wrinkles develop, and the skin loses its firmness and vibrancy.

Microneedling with non-embryonic human stem cells and growth factors encourages the body’s natural collagen synthesis to firm the skin and deliver retinol-like results to help smooth, repair, and restore skin to its former beauty.

MICRONEEDLE FOR SCARS

A versatile and customizable procedure, microneedle is an ideal treatment for acne scars and depressions or surgical scars. As the skin inside the scar is wounded, collagen is made by the body and gradually lifts the depression up to meet the skin's surface.

Human growth factors applied during the treatment support cellular renewal and have strong regenerating properties to improve skin firmness, elasticity, and texture, and improves overall tone, leaving the skin looking smooth, bright, and healthy. 

HOW DOES MICRONEEDLE WORK?

During the treatment, very small micro-needles penetrate the upper layers of your skin creating small micro-injuries. These injuries stimulate a natural healing response, which leads to the creation of new collagen.

Over the course of several treatments, this repetitive healing process can create a new layer of collagen that can improve the overall appearance of your skin.

PREPARING FOR A MICRONEEDLE FACIAL

It is important to discontinue the use of prescription vitamin A products and acids one week prior to your treatment and one-week post-treatment.

Even though the downtime is minimal we recommend you do not have an important event within 7 days of your treatment.

We recommend having this procedure performed every 2 to 4 weeks depending on the results you would like to achieve.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING YOUR TREATMENT

The procedure is gentle and safe, and there is no need for a topical anesthetic. Most individuals report warmth or minor skin pricks as the treatment is delivered. Expect redness, tightness, mild sensitivity, and pinprick bleeding immediately post-treatment. 

AFTER YOUR MICRONEEDLE FACIAL

Depending on the depth of treatment, most individuals experience mild flushing for up to 90 minutes. Nano-microneedle procedures have little-to-no downtime. 

Deeper treatments will require a recovery period of up to 48 hours. Redness, weeping, and dryness are to be expected during the initial phases of recovery. Avoid strenuous exercise, sun exposure, and stimulating/exfoliating skincare products. Your aesthetician will provide you with an aftercare form to follow.
