Peel at Home

Chemical peels have been used for decades to brighten, clarify and rejuvenate aging skin. They're the secret to our most-loved facial services. While you're staying-in and staying well, here's a few of our favorite at-home peeling formulations that will help keep your skin fresh, bright, and smooth.

Peel at Home

Glycolic acid removes the outermost layer of dead surface skin cells from the complexion, revealing a brighter fresher skin to the surface. ARC Resurfacing Peel Pads or Cranberry Peel are designed to be used 2-3 times per week to keep skin soft, bright and supple.

Extractions

Proceed with caution--not all blemishes can be extracted. As professionals, we use a lance to open the follicle and help release congestion [don't try this at home]. Going too deep, using the wrong extraction technique, or forcing and pushing down can cause the follicle to blow beneath the skin surface and bruising, making your breakout problem worse.

However, you can extract some blackheads and whiteheads with gentle pressure. After cleansing, toning, and peeling, put a small amount of toner on a cotton pad and gently lift blemishes up and out of the pores. Wash your skin again, after extractions, and proceed with masking or the remainder of your skin ritual.

Stay Hydrated

Hyaluronic acid is No.1 when it comes to keeping your skin soft, supple, and dewey-looking. Without adequate hydration, your skin looks dull, tired and lackluster.

Masking

One of the many simple pleasures in life, facial masking can help calm and soothe skin, hydrate, and refine pore appearance. After exfoliating, the nutrients in masks work better and are readily absorbed into your skin.
