Lash Lift / Perm
If you're lashes are straight and stubborn, or you need to control unruly lashes and ingrown lashes, a lash lift is the semi-permanent fix you're looking for. Lash perms or lifts require no prep, no maintenance, and can be customized for the length of your lashes.
Expect lots of complements. Lash Lifts volumize, lengthen, and curl your natural lashes without the fuss of lash extensions or glue-on lashes.
Can it hurt my natural lashes, is it safe?
Unlike lash extensions or glue-on lashes, a lash lift works directly on the hair shape with a chemical solution so it doesn't stress your hair follicles. You can also use a lash grower, like Revitalash, to lengthen your lashes and achieve a more dramatic result. Your lash specialist can talk more about the results you can achieve in a consultation.
How long does it last?
Lash lifts can last up to 8 weeks with residual results for up to three months. Time varies depending on the structure of your hair and your personal hair growth cycle. As your lashes naturally cycle, the results will become less noticeable.
What to expect during the lash lift service.
Lash lifts can take up to 45-minutes as a standalone service, or you can schedule one during your facial treatment. Either way, you're in a comfortable bed and enjoying the spa ambiance during the service.
Lash lifts use a silicone shield, gentle adhesive and perm solution to lift and curl your natural lashes. The perm solution softens your hair bonds with a combination of organic compounds and acids, making it adaptable to the shield and giving your lash shape. The solution can take up to 15 minutes, depending on how quickly your lashes respond to the setting process.
Once the perm solution has curled the hair, a setting solution is applied to harden the hair bonds and hold the curl, locking the shape and lift. A nourishing lotion is applied to condition the hair and bring moisture back to the lashes.
Because a lash lift uses your natural lashes, maintenance is carefree and you can use any mascara after 24 hours. You may find it beneficial to condition or moisturize your lashes at night.
